INT. – OUTSIDE COLLEGE HALL – AFTERNOON

ARCHIE and CODY are sitting outside the hall, watching the students as they walk past. They see STUDENT 1 walking up the stairs towards them.

CODY
I’ll take this one.

STUDENT 1 reaches the top of the stairs. CODY puts his thumb up to him.

CODY (continued)
Hi.

STUDENT 1 shakes his head disapprovingly as he walks past them.

ARCHIE
I don’t think he was very impressed.

ARCHIE’S phone rings.

ARCHIE (continued)
Hold on a sec.

ARCHIE brings out his phone. He sees that RACHEL is ringing him and he answers the phone.

RACHEL (furiously)
I can’t believe you would be so stupid as to do that! Don’t you have any respect for me?

ARCHIE cuts off the call. He puts the phone away.

CODY
Who was that?

ARCHIE
Don’t have a clue.

MEGAN walks up the stairs and walks over to ARCHIE and CODY.

MEGAN
Hey.

ARCHIE
Shouldn’t you be in lesson?

MEGAN
I was just on my way. And shouldn’t you think about going to lesson? The amount of time you’ve skipped Chemistry.

CODY
Yeah. You should.

ARCHIE (sighing)
Whatever.

MEGAN walks away. JOHN comes walking up the stairs. He faces ARCHIE.

JOHN
You can’t pass an A level if you never turn up. Now get a move on.

ARCHIE picks up his rucksack from off the floor.

ARCHIE
I’ll cya later.

CODY
Cya.

ARCHIE walks down the corridor. JOHN follows closely behind him.

CODY (continued)
